A very warm welcome to Sporran and Pouch's section on Kilt Belts and buckles. All the belts shown here are made by Robincraft, a renowned quality producer of sporrans and kilt belts, base just south of Edinburgh, Scotland.
Robincraft is a name well known and respected in the Sporran world and indeed in the Highlandwear world in general. Robincraft's products are all of a very high quality. This company are not interested in producing cheap items for sale and aim only at the higher quality end of the market.
The prices charged for our products are fair and realistic. The quality is high and all our products really do give really good value for money - after all, as the saying goes, you only get what you pay for!
The leather used in the kilt belts is very high quality. You can tell a good quality kilt belt by the substance of the leather used. A good quality kilt belt should be 3 to 3.5mm thick in substance. It should also have a nice feel, or handle, not too hard and not too soft - just right. When you buy our kilt belts, you will find them just right in all these respects. Quality is our watchword and indeed our service to all our customers. If a kilt belt is either too soft or too hard, it just will not feel right when worn. We are very consious of this and only sell the highest quality.
Our buckles are either produced in Scotland or failing that England. The PM range are Scottish, the rest produced in Birmingham.
Our kilt belts come in various designs. The plain one has a grain (like pigskin) finish. We also do a celtic design on a smooth leather and a zoomorphic, or picktish design on another. Our thistle design is a unique one, desined by a heraldic engraver, based in Edinburgh called Ian Grant. Some of Ian's buckles are also on this site.
We also carry the Naver belt . The Naver kilt belt , the Naver trouser belt and the Naver Trews belt are all made in a very high quality traditionally tanned leather. These belts are made in a traditional leather crafter's way which is rarely found these days. These belts are finished to a very high standard.
You can be assured that all our sporrans and kilt belts and bags are made in SCOTLAND. We do not import ANYTHING.
