This pouch is crafted in the traditional leatherworking way. The whole pouch and strap has been hand crafted with the edges finished and polished in a very traditional way as is the stiching stiching iwhich s also done by hand. The leather used is also a very traditional vegetable tanned leather. This method of tanning goes back hundreds of years and takes months rather than weeks- as is the case with most modern leathers- to produce.
This pouch can be used by Pipers who do not want to carry their bulky tools in their sporran, or by hillwalkers or people using the traditional plaid in their dress, or as a "different" sporran. The point is that this is a very versatile pouch which can be worn in several different ways and on different occasions.
Like all our products , this one was born and crafted in Robincraft's premises near Edinburgh, Scotland and has the authentic logo embossed on it to assure you of its quality and provenance.
