Semi Dress Sporrans
Welcome to Sporran and Pouch,s Semi Dress Sporrans. We at Sporran and Pouch take pride in the quality and range of our semi dress sporrans and indeed in our entire range of sporrans, bags, kilt belts etc. All our sporrans whether dress or semi dress sporrans are crafted in  a local workshop which is home to a company called Robincraft, situated just south of Edinburgh, Scotland.

Robincraft is a name well known and respected in the Sporran world and indeed in the Highlandwear world in general. Robincraft's products are all of a very high quality. This company are not interested in producing cheap items for sale and aim only at the higher quality end of the market.

The prices charged for our products are fair and realistic. The quality is high and all our products really do give really good value for money - after all, as the saying goes, you only get what you pay for!

The semi dress sporran is really meant to be worn at semi formal occasions held during the day time, such as a lunch gathering. Having said that, this in recent years has become blurred and it is now acceptable to wear the semi dress sporran at formal occasions such as weddings and wedding receptions. Some of our semidress sporrans are a mixture of formal and semi formal - for example our DR28 as shown on the page below.

The semi dress sporran is also a lot cheaper to buy than a dress sporran, even in its more elaborate forms.

Most sporrans either dress or semi dress on the market today are made from sealskin. However, more and more sporrans, including our own are made from Bovine, which is really various forms of cowhide. This is more eco-friendly than sealskin and is increasingly more acceptable generally. All of the skins we use are by-products of other industry and nothing we use or indeed will use is specifically killed for making sporrans.

All the sporrans and kilt belts you see on this site are made in Scotland - we do not import anything
